The air we are breathing in public or private places is 2 to 10 times more polluted that the outside air. Allergies, asthma and respiratory diseases have more than doubled in the last 15 years and at least 30% of the European population are affected. Indoor Air Quality and the health issue linked to it is becoming a major concerned for the governments.

Biolysair is a professional air purifier using photocatalysis (UVC) which destroys allergens, mould spores, viruses, bacteria, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and other particles. Biolysair, at last an efficient solution

 
There are three main ways to improve indoor air quality:
 
    - Avoid or limit source of pollution
    - Have and maintain a good ventilation system
    - Purify the premises
 
Nowadays only the 3rd solution is realistic. Unfortunately, among all of the air purifiers available on the market, none of them offer a really efficient solution:
 
    - Mechanical filtration traps organisms without destroying them. This means changing the filter regularly with all of the pathogen risks linked to the disposal of the filter
    - Ozonisation causes a concentration of zone much higher than recommended sanitary levels and is hazardous for lungs.
    - Ionization is the physical process of converting atoms or molecules in the atmosphere into an ion by adding or removing electrons. There is no destruction, but accumulation of germs and particles around the         ion generator.
    - Filters with activated carbon are only active on chemical compounds. Filters are quickly saturated and have to be changed very often.
