Fence and Barn Paint, wood and timber paint

This is a highly effective water-based paint designed to colour and protect untreated timber used for fencing, weatherboarding and barns. The paint has a matt finish and though breathable, it resists weathering extremely well. It will adhere to and cover old creosote and other stains. For best results, two coats are recommended. Coverage is 10-12m² per litre per coat.

Fence and Barn Paint is a water-based product without any solvents that could damage the environment. It is child, animal and plant friendly. The principal ingredients are water, plant oils, iron oxide pigments, clay, Suffolk chalk and zinc oxide.

It is available in a variety of colours, including Black, Chocolate Brown, Red, Dark Green, Blue Sage, Cream and Off-White. Custom-made colours can be created at a slightly extra cost.

Fence and Barn Paint can be applied with a brush, or it can be diluted and sprayed onto large areas for speed. It takes about 36 hours to harden and should be protected from rain for about 24 hours. The second coat can be applied about 4 hours after the first.
