Our Story

Our interest in alternative heating came about when one of our founders came across the perfect heating solution for his family home.  After two chilly and expensive winters with a wood stove and an oil-fired boiler, a colleague suggested a new kind of heating system and within just two weeks the new gasification log boiler was installed and the new heat had transformed his family home.

Our Approach

Nearly four years later, that initial interest has grown into a well respected business and Eco Angus is the sole UK and Eire distributor for EKO-VIMAR ORLANSKI.  Our products include wood gasification log boilers, multi-fuel wood burners and pellet boilers available in sizes suitable for both domestic and light commercial premises.   

The Angus Super Gasification wood boiler is the best selling wood boiler in USA, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, offering excellent value and short payback periods.  We sell products direct to customers and through approved distributors and installers.  We also offer complete heating packages and can introduce approved installers operating nationally.

Angus Super & Orlan (Gasification Boilers)

Available in sizes from 18kw to 80 kw.  These log gasification boilers produce a ‘cleaner’ and more efficient combustion process.  Using the latest downdraft technology, this gasification boiler burns the gasses produced during the normal burning process, therefore allowing minimal CO2 to be released into the atmosphere. The secondary burning chamber burns gasses at up to 1200° C  enabling the boiler to achieve thermal energy efficiencies of over 90%.

Angus Evo (Wood Boiler)

Available in sizes 17kw to 60kw.  These cast Iron Boilers are a cost efficient way of gaining central heating and hot water. Made from corrosion resistant cast iron it is simple, but effective. The Angus Evo boiler is easy to control and has a large combustion chamber with easy access allowing the user to burn wood, coal, coke, briquettes and a variety of other solid fuels.

Angus Pellet (Gasification boiler)

Available in sizes 9kw to 30kw.  Angus Super Pellet Boilers have a variable power output of up to 30kW. The pellets are fed from the hopper to the boiler via two augers. Pellets are available by the sack from a number of outlets across the UK.  During the winter months the hopper needs to be restocked every 24-30 hours.  If desired, it is possible to install the pellet boiler alongside a conventional gas or oil fired boiler, therefore enabling you to have a dual fuel option.
