Training and NVQ's
QSP Ltd (QSP) is an organisation specialising in providing waste management training and health & safety training to all sectors in industry.
The Company is a registered Assessment Centre with the Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB) providing national coverage for statutory NVQ assessments leading to a Certificate of Technical Competence for landfill, transfer, treatment and recycling facilities. Training, support and assessment is also provided for non-statutory waste management operations and street cleansing.
QSP is recognised by the Learning and Skills Council as an "Approved Provider" which provides access to national and local funding to be used towards the costs of level 2 and 3 awards for SMEs.
The strength of the Company lies in the experience of the 3 Directors - Dave Quince, Steve Shirley and Steve Pearce, along with over 30 associates, all of whom have been senior managers in the waste industry and who can bring their direct expertise to training and assessment programmes.
QSP is also a Registered Assessment Centre with City and Guilds. This allows delivery of NVQ assessments from levels 1 to 4 in health and safety.
As an approved training provider with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the primary institution for health and safety in the UK, we are also able to do deliver the 5–day Managing Safely course.
The Company is able to provide bespoke courses designed to focus on the clients own needs. It has developed its own courses in Duty of Care and Reversing Assistants which benefit front line operational staff.
