WT Series Single Shaft Shredders

The WT Series Single Shaft Shredders are suitable for a wide range of recycling and size reduction processes.The low operating speed of 83 rpm keeps noise and energy consumption to a minimum whilst achieving maximum throughput.

The machines are fitted with symmetrical concaved face cutters which allows them to be rotated 4 times before replacements are required. This considerably reduces operational costs and machine downtime during maintenance.

The hydraulic ram feeding system in the loading hopper allows for adjustment of feed force and cutting pressure.
WT Series shredders can be fitted with an optional fluid coupling which allows the drive motor to get to full speed before load is applied. This considerably increases the performance of when shredding problematic materials.

A classifier screen is fitted on the discharge side of the rotor to control the output size of the shredded material. This screen can be between 15-100mm on request.

The open front design allows the screens to be removed quickly and easily to facilitate cleaning between different material types and maintenance.

Each machine is supplied with a CE/UL approved electrical control panel using top quality Telemecanique/Schneider components and Siemens PLC’s.
 
All moving components of the machine are enclosed within the electrically interlocked machine cabinet to prevent access whilst the machine is running which ensures operator safety.
